The hotel offers a charming local village ambience.
I found the one-bedroom apartment to be underwhelming in space and comfort. The cooking facilities were minimal, and the seating options were limited to hard kitchen chairs around a small table. The presence of mosquitoes made it challenging to enjoy the outdoor space or keep the door open for fresh air.

This was a fantastic stay on our road trip. We had the superior queen room which was huge and bright with large towels. Central heating, a TV set and a radio available were an advantage. Location: the hotel was just next door to many excellent restaurants, Ascain, where there is a good choice of bars and restaurants and the centre. Stopped by Maison Susperregui to get some coffee and treats, it's a few steps away from the venue, recommend.

Ascain vibes 🌄
Got a spacious apartment with an amazing view of the hills. Chommie at reception was super helpful with food recs, and brekkie had fresh local goodies-lekker! Just loved the chill atmosphere here, perfect for doing a little exploring around town.
But ja, the noise from the street was a bit of a bliksem early in the morning.

It was just a fine choice for a weekend outing in Ascain with reasonable price. The garden area was perfect for my dog to enjoy some fresh air. Be ready for a lack of space and minimal seating options.

Staying at the Alaia was quite enjoyable due to the charming ambiance and its proximity to the mountains. My studio had a lovely garden view. The kitchen facilities made it easy to prepare my meals, a big plus since I was traveling with my dog. The breakfast options were extensive, with fresh local ingredients. The space felt a bit limited. The absence of air conditioning made the summer heat uncomfortable at times. Parking availability was a concern too, especially in peak hours, as it was often tight. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was pleasant.

Perfect stopover for us!
Really loved the cozy vibe! The kitchenette let us whip up some meals, great since we were traveling with our dog. The garden area was super handy for her to roam around. Breakfast spread was legit, but parking was a bit tight at times. Solid place for a quick stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The value for money was exceptional, with great prices that didn't break the bank. The attention to detail was evident, with rooms equipped with a TV offering some English channels. The location in the charming village was perfect, providing stunning views of the mountains from both balconies. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying.
No improvements needed, everything was perfect.
